In March SEC Interiors held its eighth successful infamous Winter Networking Event at the Chamonix Ski Resort, with attendees from the commercial property industry.
The event was held over two weekends in March, hosted by Russell Coleman (Sales Director), Steve Watts (Managing Director) and this year, Jonathan Richmond (Design & Proposals Manager).
Weekend 1 saw the more social skiiers representing Brasier Freeth, The Bowen Partnership, Aitchison Raffety and Cogent Real Estate.
Day 1 started with navigating the pistes of Brévent and Flégère between white out conditions (a new experience for our guests) and sunshine.
Day 2 was a trip through the Mont Blanc tunnel to Courmayuer in Italy to enjoy their more wide open pistes, including a lunch at the the Maison Vieille restaurant.
The final day was a cruise day at the resot of Le Tour, with some guests getting their first experience of off-piste skiing.
The SEC Interiors team hosted the more technically adept skiiers on Weekend 2 again representing Brasier Freeth, Aitchison Raffety and BrayFoxSmith.
Day 1 saw the skiiers take in Brévent and Flégère on a "leg finding" day followed by the ski-doo trip in the evening to the restaurant Maison Vieille.
The plan for Day 2 was to go through the Mont Blanc tunnel to the Monte Bianco side for a off-piste guide day from Vallée Blanche and Vallée Noir to the Toula glacier. Unfortunately once through the Mont Blanc tunnel the team was greeted by extreme cloud, so turned back and took in the Aiguille des Grands Montets.
The final day was a hard faced, top to bottom piste bothering day, around Le Tour which started with cold wind and cloud, but ended up with beautiful sunshine for a day of piste bothering.
A special thank you to Andy Nelson of Infinity Mountain Guides who took the superb photographs featured above and guided the Weekend 2 skiiers.
Russell Coleman and the team would also like to thank all those that took time out of the busy schedule to attend the event. It was a thoroughly successful Winter Networking Event with plans for it to return in 2019. Who knows, the ski-doos may make an appearance too!
