Approach
SEC Storage was chosen by Wildman & Bugby to supply, deliver and install multiple runs of adjustable pallet racking for their new warehouse facility in Rushden, Northamptonshire. A mixture of beam duties, C100's and U50's were used for varying loads and product sizes.
C100 beam sizes were used for more heavier varieties of product, whereas the U50's were used as a picking level for lighter duty products e.g rolls of leather wrapped around cardboard tubes. The mixture of both beam sizes proved to be a more efficient and cost effective storage option overall
Chipboard decking will also be installed to all levels of the racking, acting as a secure platform for product storage, and an additional tubular safety barrier was installed to protect the warehouse electrical distribution board
Beam labels and aisle markers were also provided to the pallet racking runs to help provide workers with precise product identification, and SEC also provided and installed slotted angle shelving for alternate product storage
