Client:
Thermoseal Group Ltd
Location:

Project Summary:
Installation of a new mezzanine floor & cantilever racking systems across a 13,700 sq/ft space...
Approach
SEC were tasked with the design, fit-out and reconfiguration of their new warehouse in Rochester, Kent. The project required not only the planning and design of a new cantilever system from SEC, but also the reconfiguration of space to install the mezzanine floor above the production area, along with readjustments to the back wall pallet racking system.
Double and straight runs of guide rail were also implemented at the base of the racking as a protection and guide measure.
Multiple bays of double faced cantilever racking were installed with four to five levels/arms per each bay. This was the primary focus of the project along with maximising storage capacity overall.
The mezzanine floor installation also included lighting underneath to illuminate the production area with two PIR sensors acting as a timed switch mechanism. SEC also extended the existing back wall pallet racking system and reconfigured it’s current format to maximise storage optimisation.
