SEC Interiors were called upon to refurbish and modernise the staff welfare areas at the Tibbetts Group Ltd warehouse facility in Banbury, Oxfordshire, with the project seeing the creation of a newly formed staff break-out area and the refurbishment of the staff WC’s, kitchen and main corridor.
Firstly, to create the new kitchen break-out area SEC had to dismantle the existing wall to the toilet and then reinstate it, in the process creating a straight corridor and toilet wall. This also allowed for the formation of the extended kitchen break-out area, which was then fitted with a breakfast bar and kitchen tea-point unit with space for adequate furnishings and seating
Once this was completed, SEC laid the flooring with ceramic tiles and commenced with the painting and decoration of the area. For the WC’s, SEC supplied and installed new IPS (integrated plumbing system) panelling complete with white porcelain, wall hung WC’s and cubicle units.
White porcelain urinals with modesty screens were also installed in the mens bathroom, all on IPS duct panelling with hidden waste and cisterns, and each completed with an electronic flush.Splashback hand wash stations were installed with mirrors and hand dryers to finalise both WC areas, along with overall painting, decoration and making good of all areas.
