SEC completes 5th warehouse project for
ILG (International Logistics Group Ltd)
SEC Storage is delighted to announce the completion of our 5th warehouse fit-out project for ILG (International Logistics Group Ltd) in the space of a decade.
Established in 1990, ILG has grown to become a market leader in fulfilment, warehousing and logistics services. The company has evolved alongside the e-commerce wave and major developments in the courier and freight industries to be the pick, pack and ship service for businesses.
The completion of this 5th warehouse project follows on from the success of our 2017 project at ILG’s - Birches facility, which saw both companies jointly receive the UKWA ‘Technical Innovation’ award.
This new, 30,000 sq/ft facility based in Egham, Surrey, will host a number of clients from the fashion and beauty, electronics and wholesale industries and will also allow ILG to offer next day delivery services.
The warehouse storage solution provided by SEC Storage includes:
- Remedial works, including the refurbishment and painting of the warehouse floor and walls
- The dismantling of existing racking, which was incorporated into a new, larger pallet racking setup
- A new mezzanine floor, complete with garment hanging and shelving systems, and;
- Two dedicated pick and pack areas
The completion of this project represents the continuation of a highly successful partnership and one that we look forward to developing further moving forward. You can find out more about SEC's previous projects for ILG by viewing our 2016 fashion and beauty warehouse fit-out at Burgess Hill, and our award-winning, 2017 warehouse fit-out based in East Grinstead.
