Creation of a  durable and colourful break-out area

Our client was looking to refurbish their existing staff restroom, opting for a fresher aesthetic with durable furnishings in order to meet the needs of a 24/7 production team. SEC were invited to design a solution that would fulfil all of our clients requirements, whilst also injecting a strong sense of branding throughout.

After the initial space planning phase had been completed, SEC looked to strip out the existing restroom, primed for the installation of new anti-slip vinyl flooring throughout the space. Once the flooring was laid additional decoration works ensued, including the painting of the walls in a mixture of eye-catching colours, representative of Rowse Honey and the brands parent company Valeo Foods corporate identities.

A white-faced suspended ceiling was also installed, with general lighting and electrical installation rounding off the bulk of the refurbishment works.

As the restroom area was divided into two spaces via a partitioned wall, the company required two kitchen tea-points to be installed either side in order to cater to the high-volume of production workers that use the facilities. Both kitchens were finished with stylish gloss units, integrated appliances and incorporated disposal bins.

A mixture of colourful, break-out style booths with upholstered finishes and integral tables were supplied throughout the restroom. Stacking chairs and stools with chrome skid frames and a mixture of various sized tables were also supplied and installed. A breakfast bar zone was created on the right hand side of the restroom, complete with integrated power supplies and internet connectivity - ready for the incorporation of PC’s.

The resulting works have created a fully refurbished restroom come break-out space, complete with modern amenities, strong branding and durable furnishings that will serve our client for many years to come.
