Due to growth and investment initiatives, the company installed a large casting furnace to increase production capabilites.

However, the furnace could only be situated where the client's existing racking housed critical parts and furnance consumables so this is where the dilemma arose.

The Storage Equipment Centre designed a mezzanine structure that would accommodate a racking solution which would increase storage capacity by 75%.

The mezzanine floor solution utilised the height of the building, facilitating a dynamic push back racking systemwhere pallets could be stored 5 deep per lane and a last in first out principle employed as the company works with non-perishable products.

SEC completed the installation within 3 days and avoided disruptions to the client's daily operations.
