Headline Sponsorship Helps Raise £8,000 for The Golf Trust
The SEC Group was the headline sponsor of the first The Golf Trust Golf Day which helped raise £8,000 for the charity.
The Golf Trust is a registered charity that aims to bring people together through golf. The team over the last four years has worked to show how they can harness the power of golf as a driver of social mobility and change. Established in 2012, The Golf Trust's work has brough the benefits of golf to thousands of young people and helped to make it an accessible sport for all.
On 9th May 2019 the trust held its first charity golf day at The Shire London, with teams in 4-balls competing for the days prizes, alongside other fundraising activities on the day including a raffle. The SEC Group was pleased to be headline sponsor, helping the charity to raise £8,000 on the day.
As part of the sponsorship, SEC Interiors sales director Russell Coleman entered two 4 ball teams on the day with associates from the commercial property industry and supply chain strategic partners, helping raise further funds. One member of the team was able to beat the pro to nearest the pin on the island green 7th hole, winning return visits to The Shire London.
