Gary, Steve & Dean to take on London to Paris challenge!
A team from SEC Storage will be taking on the Transaid London to Paris Cycle Challenge in September, with the aim of raising £5,000.
Gary Kirk, Steve Watts and Dean Kahl (pictured above) will be embarking on the 240 mile trip with 60 other riders from the logistics and materials handling industry. They will be departing on Friday 22nd September arriving at the iconic Eiffel Tower in Paris on Sunday 24th!
Taking on the challenge over just 3 days, the route will take in the rolling English countryside and panorama of Northern France, all with the aim of raising £5,000 for Transaid.
"Having recently sponsored a Bicycle Ambulance which will be used in sub-Sahran Africa, we were compelled to cotinue our fundraising for Transaid" says Dean Kahl, Marketing Manager.
“The London to Paris Cycle Challenge will be a real test for us at SEC Storage! I am a mountain biker and so far the limited experience on a road bike tells me this isn’t going to be easy. Steve and Gary have never done any cycling, so covering 240 miles in 3 days will be quite the challenge!”
