Hertfordshire Building and Construction Awards Finalists 2018

DOUBLE Finalists at
Hertfordshire Building & Construction Awards 2018

SEC Interiors is delighted to announce that our interior fit-out projects for REWIND and LK Printers Ltd have been nominated in two categories at this year's Hertfordshire Business and Construction Awards.

Our project at REWIND is a finalist in the 'Interior Design Award' category. REWIND are a creative agency and digital production studio based in St Albans, specialising in virtual reality and the creative production behind unforgettable experiential events.

REWIND had acquired a two floor office based on the St Albans High Street which was in a state of major disrepair. A turnkey approach was required in order to bring the space back to life and ready for the move-in of the REWIND team. The project included the design and installation of a number of innovative features, including a variety of cleverly integrated break-out spaces and modern office features, built to service the needs of a highly creative and adaptive team.

SEC Interiors received some outstanding feedback for the transformation of this once dilapidated space...

Matthew Allen, Co-Founder and Director of REWIND commented:

"The new office is bright, spacious, flexible and impressive.  A fantastic working environment has been created with plenty of different workspaces to accommodate the needs of the team. It's also a great space for hosting clients, we're very proud of what has been achieved and enjoy showing it off!

"The team at REWIND is rapidly growing, but the space has been designed to grow with us, so we're futureproofed which is very important to us."

Our project for LK Printers Ltd is nominated in the 'Highly Commended Award' category. LK Printers Ltd is a leading supplier of printers, toners, inks and managed print services. Providing competitive and excellent customer service to all business sectors.

LK Printers Ltd had acquired a new unit on the Bourne End Mills, Network 41 Industrial Estate, and in order to maximise the space of this new unit they required a solution that would maximise the height of the facility. A mezzanine floor was designed and installed by SEC Interiors, with this in turn creating the new first floor office which was fitted with a range of interior features, including a kitchen break-out space, boardroom area and more, ready for the move-in of the company's sales team.

SEC Interiors received glowing praise from LK Printers Ltd...

Grant Sproat, Managing Director at LK Printers Ltd commented: “SEC were fantastic to work with from start to finish, with this being our first project of this size it was imperative that we used a company that could take us through the process step by step.

From our initial planning meeting right through to hand over day, they were never anything but professional and they really grasped what it was we needed to achieve.

All of the site build teams were hard working, and nothing was ever too much trouble. I couldn’t recommend SEC enough!”
