Approach

Essentra, a previous client of the SEC Group had just moved into a brand new building and needed a multi-feature installation for their new 24/7 warehouse and distribution facilities in Kidlington, Oxfordshire.

Firstly a design and feasibility study took place and out of that SEC found that a three tiered mezzanine floor and staircase system could be installed with great effect.

Lift access was also built in throughout the floors, and a picking tower was also implemented to optimise warehouse maneuverability with the pallet racking installation also featuring mesh decks and dividers. Lighting and building control features in the warehouse were also built in.

Through continous correspondence with Essentra in working out the finer details of the design, supply and installation process, SEC managed to develop and implement a multi feature installation that has helped to maintain the operational efficiency that Essentra needs for their new 24/7 run facility.
